Who am I?
Hi there, my name is Bo (they/them)! I was born in the Bay Area but have lived a nomadic life ever since. Here’s a little bit of my recent-ish history:
During the pandemic, I bought a 1987 Toyota pickup truck, packed my bags and moved to a remote area of Humboldt county. I learned to fell trees and worked as a tree faller for a defensible space project aiming to thin out the old growth redwood forests and make them less prone to wildfires. After obtaining my Faller B certificate and Firefighter license, I went on to become a Hotshot Firefighter for the US Forest Service where I helped fight some of California’s largest and most destructive wildfires from 2020-2023.
When it came time to settle down I moved to Oakland. I needed a change of pace from the intensity of forestry work, so I decided to combine two things I love — adventures and dogs! I became a dog walker for one of the most renowned names in the Bay Area and cultivated myself as a skilled and attentive pack leader.
My love for nature and adventure, combined with my affinity for dogs is a match made in heaven. With me, you can rest easy knowing that safety and bringing your best friend home every day is my number one priority. Fun, play, and adventure are secondary but a guarantee nonetheless!
